Ruins of the Mohegan Farm

A walk through the woods still reveals remnants of the huge stone barns which housed hundreds of prize dairy cows, who produced fine milk for Baker Chocolates during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Much of the beautiful stone work is believed to have been created by Italian immigrants after their work on the Old Croton Dam was completed.
