Westfield Farm Tower

A view of the Westfield Farm tower, a local landmark from the 1800s to the present. Located at Strawberry Road and Lexington Avenue, north of Route 6, the tower is the last vestige of this great farm. During World War II, it was used as part of the civil defense network, a lookout for enemy planes. Most of the rest of the historic stone farm buildings have been torn down in the past few years. This tower will probably be razed within the next few years.
